Former Northwest Missouri State University basketball standout Joey Witthus returned to Bearcat Arena for a game Saturday afternoon for the first time since completing his playing career.
Witthus left his mark in two years as a Bearcat winning MIAA Player of the Year and receiving First Team All-America honors for the 2018-19 season, setting the program record for points in a single season with 780, and bringing Northwest its second men's basketball national championship.
The Chanhassen, MN native joined John Coffey live during pregame of Saturday's Northwest basketball game against Lincoln to discuss his career as a Bearcat.
